It depends on where you are in your current billing cycle. We can sign you up today, and it may take 30 to 45 days before we are actually set up as your natural gas supplier.
This is a great system to help you budget your monthly gas bills. PLEASE NOTE that this has to be set up for both the distribution and supply portions of your bill. This is only and always set up by your utility company.
Yes, of course you can. Or, you don’t have to. This is completely your choice.
As a residential customer, you will continue to receive your bill from National Fuel Gas and you just pay them. If you are a commercial or industrial customer and require customized billing, we are happy to set this up for you.
You sign an Agreement so that National Fuel Gas knows that you requested the transfer to Crown Energy Services, Inc. and because your request is in written form this protects you from being enrolled without your knowledge.
There are no hidden fees. You will never need out-of-pocket upfront monies to become our customer.
No, not at all. If someone appears at your door and says it is time to renew your account, please know you are not speaking with a Crown Energy Services, Inc. representative.
Your bill is divided into two parts. One part is Distribution (also known as Transportation). The other part is Supply (also known as Commodity).
It’s important that you know that we don’t do anything with meters. That is, we don’t own the meters and we don’t read the meters. Generally, your bill reflects an estimate of your usage one month and an actual usage reading the next month.
